Industrial Park Hiltrop

Project controlling for the reactivation of the area – Lothringen IV

The industrial park Hiltrop is situated on the area of the former pit and cookery Lothringen IV. In the years 2000 until 2002, in a first step, the construction site clearance, environmental remediation and ground enhancement were processed on the sub areas “1. BA” and “WA”. Over the course of these measures, the burdened soil was built into two secured rearrangements that are visible for miles around as landscape structures.

Meanwhile, the WA and MI areas at the Hiltroper Street were developed, marketed and built on for the most part.

In a second step taking place between the years 2010 and 2011, the construction site clearance, environmental remediation and ground enhancement were processed in the remaining sub area “2. BA”. Afterwards, from 2011 to 2012, street and underground construction work was processed within the whole area, supply lines were also installed. Apart from that, comprehensive green-arrayed and landscape-nursing measures were performed on the industrial park itself, as well as on the “Hof Bergen” in the north. After all measures are finished, there will be approx. 100.000 m² of marketable properties available. ZPP was commissioned with the project controlling for the project stages 2 to 5 of the ranges of action A through C, as well as the project stages 2 to 4 in the range of action D, according to the offered service of the AHO.
