Recalculation of two bridge structures

In the year 1939, the bridge structure ”Feldweg” (BW-Nr.: 5309 823) was erected near the town Ittenbach near Koenigswinter. This bridge, which belongs to the motorway A 3, is a one-fielded, freely overlying construction that is formed as a full plate. In the year 1974, the bridge was extended both to the east and the west.

In the year 1937, the bridge structure ”Weg bei Birlingshoven” (BW-Nr.: 5209 803) was erected near the town Dambroich near Hennef. This bridge, which also belongs to the motorway A 3, is a one-fielded, freely overlying construction with a beam-like and slab-like superstructure. In the year 1969, the bridge was extended both to the east and the west. In 1980, it was further extended to the eastern and western direction.

ZPP has processed the recalculations according to the ”guideline for recalculation of in-stock street bridges-05/2011” for both bridge structures.
