ZPP publications on the topic BIM inside infrastructure

Central station Hanover and applications in the field of tunnelling

Under the title „Hanover central station: building within existing structures – digital inventory, coordination and control“ in the most recent Ernst & Sohn special Building Information Modeling (BIM), Dr.-Ing. Tobias Rahm and Dr.-Ing. Felix Nagel, along with Dr.-Ing. Katja Maaser and Dr.-Ing. Christian Manthe from the DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH are reporting from one oft he first BIM pilot projects by the DG AG. Against the background of the current plannings at the central station Hanover, the focus rests on the digital inventory and the advantages that come along with BIM for existing properties.

In this year's April issue, an article titled “BIM applications in the fields of tunnelling / digital planning and execution of tunnelling projects” – an article by Dr.-Ing. Tobias Rahm, Dr.-Ing. Felix Nagel and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ludger Speier, along with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Markus König of the Ruhr-University of Bochum was released in the magazine "Bautechnik". Within the scope of the contribution, current experiences, the aims of the BIM application and individual applications in the field of tunnelling are discussed on the basis of examples.
