ZPP at the DB BIM fair 2019

On 28 May 2019, from 9 am to 8 pm the second DB BIM fair of the DB AG’s management board department Infrastructure took place in the Bolle Festival Halls in Berlin. Deutsche Bahn has largely completed the BIM pilot phase in the area of planning and adopted the BIM strategy for the coming years. Now it is a matter of implementation in the planning, construction and operation of the railway infrastructure. There were about 500 participants on site.

As one of a total of 25 exhibitors, ZPP was represented with its own booth. Highlights of our fair presence were insights into the BIM pilot project of DB Netz AG "Fehmarn Sound Crossing, variant bore tunnel" and into the BIM project "Görlitz station" of DB Station and Service AG. The latter could also be experienced live in the Break-Out sessions under the title „DB S&S: Die 5 Kernelemente für eine erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit im BIM-Projekt“.
