On 10/06/2016 Air Liquide celebrated the completion of the investment program for the modernization and expansion of its location in Dortmund. Core of the project was the establishment of an oxygen concentrator, replacing eight old units. Extensive remodeling of the existing compressor house were required. Moreover, additional car park for tankers and new social spaces were created and built.
Martin Schulz, CEO of Air Liquide Germany GmbH, emphasized the importance of investment in the location for security of supply.
In the air separation plant in Dortmund oxygen, liquid nitrogen and argon are produced and transported through the pipeline system of Air Liquide or be transported with tankers to customers.
ZPP Hennig was involved with the project planning, structural planning and construction management. In addition, ZPP Hennig took over the coordination of safety and health, and contributed to the accident-free construction.
