New locks DEK-Nord

ZPP supports the WNA Datteln

As part of the expansion of the chain of locks Rheine at the Dortmund-Ems-Kanal-Nord, five of the six lock facilities will be newly build over the course of the next 15 years. They are going to fully replace the existing lock structures after being put into service.

As one of six partners, ZPP obtained the order by the IBÜ Schleusen DEK-Nord to support the WNA Datteln (Wasserstraßen-Neubauamt Datteln) on the construction and object supervision for this extraordinary construction project. The contract signing ensued in the presence of representatives of all involved parties at the WNA Datteln.

With the project information and management system ZPP INTERPROJECT, ZPP moreover provides the central planning and document data bank for the overall project.

The support tasks of the IBÜ will commence immediately in early 2017, with the first workings at the lock location Gleesen.
