New branch in Regensburg

ZPP acquires Pfülb Consulting Engineers

On 1 January 2020, ZPP Ingenieure AG acquired Pfülb Consulting Engineers. This means that SOCOTEC Germany has gained another strategic base and further broadened its portfolio.

Over the past 30 years, this 12-strong Regensburg-based company has gained a stellar reputation. Founded by Franz Pfülb, the focus of Pfülb Consulting Engineers is on the planning and design of bridge structures, enabling it to develop an impressive track record and outstanding reference list. Pfülb also specializes in foundation engineering and open cut-and-cover tunnel construction.

ZPP has acquired Pfülb under a corporate succession plan: the former owner, Franz Pfülb, is lending his support during the transition phase and will continue to be available as an advisor. Veteran manager Johann Prey will steer Pfülb as the new team leader of ZPP Ingenieure AG.

By integrating Pfülb, ZPP has gained another powerful foothold in southern Germany. In the future, this Regensburg-based branch will liaise with fellow Bavarian colleagues in Munich and all the other ZPP teams throughout Germany and collaborate on selected projects.
